Dr Taylor,s List of Delivered Women ( 1794 -1829 ) this is possibly a unique record for family research. For over 3,000 babies that Dr Taylor delivered in and around Redditch, he recorded mostly the name of the husband and his occupation. He did not record the sex of the baby, if you have the christening dates of a child born in the area between ( 1794 -1829 ) it is possible to find the exact date of birth. There is a transcript version and a facsimile version.
The library has a number of computers offering free internet access and a microfilm reader- printer which may be booked in advance.
