The Birmingham and Midland Society for Genealogy and Heraldry –Bromsgrove Branch

Tuesday 8th July at 7.30 p.m.

This month you are invited to walk the

“Bromsgrove Town Trail”

where we shall discover some of Bromsgrove’s history, mention

the special buildings of the past, see the present

buildings, alleyways and courts and learn how the character

of the town has changed over the years.

Also some of the people who have influenced the town – names like

Benjamin Sanders, Benjamin Maund, Leadbetter, the

Cotton brothers, John (The Bird) Crane and Housman - all

played their part in enhancing the town.

Please meet us outside the Methodist Centre for a prompt start at 7.30p.m. The walk should take just over one hour.

Note that we do not hold a meeting in August but we will meet again on Tuesday 9^th September at the usual venue at 7.45pm
