Synopsis from the Last Meeting

 On the  9th of October 2007 a very well attended members evening was held with many display tables erected around the entire room.

 Members had brought along memorabilia of their ancestors' military service including medals, service records, newspaper articles, diaries and anything associated with the life of the soldiers, seamen and airmen in their family dating back to the start of the 19th century.

Our chairman Mike Yegwart kicked off with his, and then clockwise around the room members explained their displays and how they discovered and obtained their memorabilia and visits to war graves and one member explained how he found himself in a different regiment on D-Day.
