Diseases Through History

I gathered this information from various sites I found on the internet and from books.  Google or another good search engine is an excellent way of finding information, and trying different wording can sometimes bring up data that you haven't seen before.  For example you can use "epidemics", "epidemics worldwide" or "epidemics in the UK".  "Illnesses", "deaths from plague", "typhoid" etc might also yield up more information.

You can also make a note of any illnesses/epidemics you find in a genealogical magazine, sometimes these can be included in a story about the Boer War, the American Civil War or even a Regiment's history.

Jeanagh Punter

Jeanagh and ourselves would especially like to know of any others you may know of, and especially Worcestershire based epidemics.
If you can help by adding more to this list please contact Jeanagh PUNTER <jeanagh.punter@btinternet.com>
