We are pleased to announce the release of a major historical resource on this site. Users now have access to 77 years of the Bromsgrove Messenger newspaper, from 1860-1937, available for FREE.

Just Register, if you haven't already done so, then Login. Look for the Resources Box on the left.

A selection of transcriptions of birth, marriage and death announcements from this newspaper is also available - see the link from the main Bromsgrove Messenger page after logging in.

The Worcestershire Archive and Archaeology Service is now open for business at The Hive! The staff and resources from Worcestershire Historic Environment and Archaeology Service and the Worcestershire Record Office have combined to offer one enhanced service.

Click the attachments to read details of the new service in their latest newsletter, plus details of the Archaeology Day School on 17 November.

Worcestershire Monumental Inscriptions

The BMSGH Shop now has Worcestershire Monumental Inscriptions on CD.

The disc lists over 100,000 names from 175 graveyards and burial grounds across the county. It contains a searchable surname index, linked to transcripts from all locations. See the listing on BMSGH Shop for further information.

The e-Shop has a range of MI records from across the Midlands, with a choice of microfiche, downloadable pdf files and some are available in book format while stocks last.

Where's the Login?

Due to the volume of spoof registrations, the login facility has been suspended. All resources that previously required registration and login are now publicly accessible.

The North Worcestershire Family History Forum has also been suspended.
